Senior
Mission
The Senior Group develops elite student-athletes prepared to compete at the state and national level. This program fosters dedication, work ethic, time management, and goal-setting skills to support success in both swimming and life. Swimmers aim to compete collegiately, with opportunities for athletic scholarships and focused event training.
Goals
- Compete at State, Sectional, and National levels.
- Develop mental toughness, time management, and leadership skills.
- Pursue collegiate swimming opportunities, including scholarships.

Expectations
- Attendance: Swimmers are required to maintain a seasonal attendance average of 80% or higher, including dryland training. Failure to meet this standard may result in reassignment at the discretion of the Head Coach.
- Commitment: Year-round training is a requirement, reflecting the high standards of this group.
- Competitions: Swimmers must participate in all assigned meets and compete in events chosen by the Head Coach.
- Performance Standards: Athletes should consistently meet or be on track to achieve State Qualifying Standards.
- Responsibility: Swimmers are expected to take ownership of their growth, communicate proactively about conflicts, and remain self-driven in pursuing their goals.
Advancement Criteria
To join the Senior Group, athletes must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a high school student committed to year-round training.
- Demonstrate a strong and consistent work ethic, including at least 75% attendance in the previous season’s training sessions (including dryland).
- Successfully complete the following test sets:
- 15 x 100 Freestyle @ 1:20
- 10 x 100 Kick @1:40
- 3 x 400 IM @ 6:00
