Our Fall season is ongoing, no longer accepting new registrations, ending December 20th. Mini-Rays will run as a separate Fall and Winter season.

Winter 2026 Session Information

Join us for our Winter 2026 season, our first official day will be January 5th and will end March 25th. Mini-Rays will run as a separate Fall and Winter season.

Those interested should have swim lesson experience. They should be able to swim at least one length of the pool (25 Yards) of either freestyle or backstroke unassisted and should be comfortable swimming on their own. The general age for this group is 5-9 years old.  There are a maximum of 40 spots available for Mini-Rays.  Registration will open to current members first, then waitlist, then to the general public. You will receive an email with a link to register when it is available for your swimmer.

*New swimmers (or anyone who hasn’t swam with us since Sept 2024) please join us for the above evaluation day. 

 

Evaluations will take place at Saline High School, 1300 Campus parkway, Saline, MI 48176. Park on the west side of the building and use entrance 7, once you enter the school go to the first hall on the left, then the first set of double doors on the left and down the stairs to the pool deck. 

 The evaluation will take about 10 -15 minutes in the water. We will ask them to swim each stroke to the best of their ability, not necessarily looking for speed but great technique. After the evaluation we will discuss our notes and reach out via email with our recommendation. 

 

ONLINE REGISTRATION: Please visit www.salineswitmteam.com. Registration for "returning" swimmers (swam between Sept. 2025 and now) will open 12/8/25. Open registration will begin 12/15/25. Returning swimmer's spot will be held only until open registration begins, at that time we will take registrations on a first come first serve basis until our groups are full.

Ideally all Participants should be formally registered by January 5th. No refunds will be given after 1/20/26.  Registration will remain open as long as space is available, please see contacts below to set up an evaluation time.  

Group placement/Evaluation days

Returning swimmers will receive an email with their group assignment. Once registration is open, this is the group in which you will register your swimmer.

 

"New" swimmers (have never swam for the team OR swam for the team prior to Sept. 2024):

Please attend our evaluation (see above).

Mini-Rays: Our Pre-swim team group, for those with swim lesson experience. The Mini-Rays is designed to help bridge the gap between learn-to-swim lessons and competitive swimming. Mini-Rays is a comprehensive swim program. Through a positive and enjoyable environment swimmers are exposed to the overarching technical components of proper biomechanics.  There are a maximum of 40 spots available for Mini-Rays.

Please Note: Mini-rays winter session runs from Jan 5th-March 25th.  

Important: Prior to beginning your registration you will need two things.

1) You will need to know what group to register your swimmer for. All current swimmers, please refer to the group placement email you received (or will receive according to the schedule above) and register them for that group. For non-current swimmers, please join us for a swimmer evaluation (See dates above)

2) If anyone in your family has been a part of the team or clinics in the past, you have an account (you may have an account even if you have never logged into it). Depending on when your child(ren) swam last, you may also need to complete some additional steps to gain access. If you are new to the team you will create an account upon registration.

There will be only ONE account per FAMILY. If your swimmer or a sibling has EVER swam for the team in the past you HAVE an account! Please do NOT create a new one. If you cannot access your account, please contact Nick Munsell, [email protected]. Failure to do so may result in a duplicate account being created and delay your registration.

You will receive confirmation once your registration has been accepted.
