Winter 2014 Registration is OPEN

I wanted to remind everyone that registration is currently open for our winter season. IMPORTANT: The date for our new swimmer group placement has changed, it will now take place on Tuesday January 7th! Regular practices will begin January 8th. Swimmers who participated with the team this fall do not need to attend the group evaluations. 

 
If your swimmer participated in the Fall 2013 SST season, please assume they will continue in their current group, unless otherwise indicated by their coaches.  If your swimmer is new to the program or did not participate in the fall season please join us for an evaluation on Tuesday, January 7th according to the times below.  
10 & Under: 5-6:00 p.m.
11 & Up: 6:00-7:30 p.m.
 
Saline Stingrays Swim Team (SST) is a competitive swim team offering opportunities in both, USA Swimming and the Southern Michigan Swim League.  As a member of Saline Stingrays, swimmers will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of competitive swimming.  Stingrays serves a variety of abilities ranging from swimmers who are relatively new to competitive swimming up to swimmers competing at elite levels nationally.  The season consists of daily training, up to 7 sessions per week (depending on group placement).  The season includes 5 local dual meets and a championship meet at the end of season.  Swimmers are encouraged to join USA swimming, which will allow for more competitive opportunities (Additional registration and fees apply).  Participants MUST be able to swim Freestyle and Backstroke comfortably for 50 yards (2 lengths of the pool).
